Home Sweet Home

This is our new home! And let me tell you something, as I earlier mentioned that we haven't got lots of stuff, well we do! There were at least 10 boxes nothing but my clothes.. And all this time, two weeks now, it's have been -15-22 degrees below zero... Cold and snowy!

This place is finally starting to feel like home!

Busy Me..

Sorry I haven't update my blog recently.. We sold our home and now we found a new home! This has all been so exciting and nerve-racking.. Now we are just packing our stuff in the boxes, lucky me we don't have much of anything. Well, that's because my husband don't like extra stuff lying everywhere, he's one of those minimalist. We will move next month, and we can celebrate the Christmas in our new home!

Hopefully I can be a bit creative in next year and have more time to sew, decorate and update my blog.

Cherry Bites

Yesterday I went to do some grocery shopping. I couldn't believe what my eyes saw.. There were a food shelf full of amazing products made in U.S.A. and Canada. Well the prices wasn't that pretty at all.. This Twizzlers won the lottery and I bought it. Maybe I'll go back there and buy something else as exiting new flavors as this!

Hibernate..

The fall and the darkness has arrived. I've been so tired and I think I should go to winter sleep..

Here's my hairdo from yesterday, it's so nice and reminds me of summer. Usually, at this time of the year, I start to dress brown colors, but this was so nice idea and I think that people are really starting to think that I'm a little crazy, well that actually is true..

Oh yes, I did it and I did it well! I got my class "C" driving licence. Here's a small part of the truck I was driving with.

Last week we went to see some beautiful dolphins. They truly has characters of their own. One mother dolphin didn't want to participate the show, so she took one hula hoop with her and went away into their own home. I was so amazed after the show! Well, I took all the photos and I couldn't really enjoy the show, but next time I will!

Beginning of fall..

The fall will soon be here. Weather is still pretty warm and I can't wait to use my lovely jackets. Still, I tried on one of my favourite jacket, the red one. I love LOVE it!

I <3 Tattoos

I'm thinkin about getting a new tattoo, this peacock idea is really inspiring me for a couple of months now. Those peacock feathers are so beautiful but that is the most difficult part of the tattoo. I know my husband isn't going to be so pleased about this. Well, we'll see what will happen and when..

Class "C"

My newest challenge is to drive the European driving licence class C. The course started yesterday, I started it in hurry 'cause the licence will soon be two/four times expensive than now depending on which purpose you'll need it. I'll need it to drive trucks like a Chevy Van or a Dodge Ram (these are a bit safer cars for children transportation, well that's not the only reason..).

Changes

The summer will be over soon. But we have this new patio on our backyard so we can enjoy the fall without getting ourselfs wet! Here's (again) pictures of my "new" hair. I cut my hair front and back. Well, you can't see my back hair from these photos..

And here's a picture of my "old" hair.

I got tired of our kitchen walls and I desided to change the color. What can I say, it's a pretty hard job to paint white vanilla paint over the green one.. But I did it! Lots of sweat and little bit of bad language later I'm pretty happy!

Dummy

Look what I've got for free! It's adjustable, so I can change the measurements! How cool is that? So now I'll just have to wait for the rainy days, the summer is now so beautiful. I don't want to sit indoors altough my desire to sew is pretty strong right now..

Busy Summer

Sorry I haven't updated my blog for a long time. I've been enjoying the summer! And soon it will be fall again.. I (and many others) think the Finnish summer is too short, but what can you do about it, well nothing much but ENJOY!

Maybe I should loose some weight..

This is my today's outfit and I'm also wearing my hair open and curly.

My son said to me: "Mom, I love you! 'Cause your hair is so long and blond.."

Then I realized that I have kept my hair tied up for a long time and that my hair has crown lots of lenght. (Of course I sleep my hair open..!)

Ice Cream Soda

I have never had enough courage to taste one these soda and ice cream desserts. I thought it was a very odd combination.. But, I was asked to make these at home. It was actually refresing experience! (Maybe next time I'll do this with cola or Dr. Pepper..)

All you need is orange soda,

a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream

and some nonpareils on the top!

Hello Sailor

We had a bit different Midsummer this year. It was so rainy so we decided to skip over the Rock'n'Roll Jamboree. We spent two days in a trailer on the back yard of our friends. It was fun but different Midsummer festival and rainy, of course.

I had a sailor theme going on last week. I made a pretty star bow with a beautifut light blue Swarovski. I also made the lovely star earrings for the outfit. And for the first time ever I tried to twist my hair as a ponytail, and it actually worked!
